Don’t worry! It’s easier than it sounds

Follow our step-by-step guide to safely send your flowers:

Take photos of your bouquet if you haven’t already. This step is often done in advance. Please upload your photos on the payment page—they will be used exclusively for designing your artwork

Keep flowers hydrated: Before packaging, keep the stems in water to maintain freshness. Do not spray water directly on the flowers

Trim the stems: Cut about one inch off the bottom of the stems at a 45-degree angle

Wrap the stems: Cover the bottom of the stems with a damp paper towel or cloth to keep them hydrated during transit

Cover the wrapped paper towel/cloth with cling film, but only around the stems (about 2–6 inches in length). Avoid covering the flowers

Secure the stems together with an elastic band

Protect the blooms: Gently cover the tops of the flowers with newspaper to prevent them from getting crumpled

Place in a box or crate: If possible, we recommend using a wooden box or a sturdy cardboard box. Place the flowers inside on a bed of cushioning (such as packing peanuts or newspaper), and fill any empty spaces with additional cushioning material to prevent movement

Do not use bubble wrap on flowers, as it can cause them to sweat and fade. Avoid plastic packaging materials such as bubble wrap or air cushion film

*Ensure your box is no taller than 60 cm, or you may incur higher Royal Mail delivery fees. If needed, trim an inch off the bottom of the stems

Include your order confirmation: Place a copy of your order confirmation inside the box to secure your order

Seal & label: Seal the box securely with tape clearly marking it with “This Way Up” and “Fragile – Flowers” marks to minimise the risk of damage

Take the parcel to the Post Office and ask for Special Delivery before 1pm Service
